Two new collections have been added to the digitized collections of the University Library System
Vincenzo Viviani, the last disciple of Galileo Galilei more than 100 printed texts, published between the XVI and XVII centuries and 23 volumes of journals (from the Acta philosophica Societatis regiae in Anglia and from Il giornale de' letterati) belonging to the Florentine scientist, Galileo's last disciple, found within the patrimony of the Biomedical Library.
The oriental collection of Aldobrandino Malvezzi de' Medici: 800 titles (about 200 miscellanies and 51 16th-century books), donated to the Faculty of Political Science, and today kept in the Library of Social Sciences. The digitization, foreseen for a selection of volumes of the library archive, currently opens with a Trattato delle piante & immaginij de sacri edifizi di Terra Santa of 1620.
Digitizations are searchable and usable in OneSearch and in the national platform Cultural Internet.
