On the occasion of Women's Day, the Sciences Library, located at the Sciences Campus, is exhibiting papers, documents, books and manuscripts resulting from the research of the Florentine scholar. Marianna Panciatichi Ximenes d'Aragona Paulucci, a renowned ornithologist, botanist and, above all, malacologist, was one of Tuscany's leading naturalist collectors and a prominent figure in the cultural and scientific scene of the late 19th century.
