Via Micheli 2, Florence
As an observer of his time, Roberto Papini was careful to collect documents relating to the initiatives that marked the birth and rise of Gruppo 7 and Rationalism in Italy: from the 1927 Biennale di Monza to the 1933 and 1936 Triennale di Milano, right through to the projects of the movement’s key figures. His collection provides a valuable record of this: through photographs, correspondence and archival materials, it is possible to trace the legacy of that movement which shaped and revitalised the language of Italian architecture in the early decades of the 20th century.
The exhibition is organised to promote the 16th National Day of Architectural Archives 2026.
