On January 29, the Botany Library hosted SkyTg24 for an interview with Nicola Casagli, Professor of Geological Sciences. The Professor was invited to analyze the recent geological events in Niscemi (Sicily), where a massive landslide caused the collapse of a hillside.
Using geological maps from the Geomineralogy Library, part of the Earth Sciences Department's research resources, Casagli explained the unique characteristics of the area and how it has changed over the years.
