An afternoon dedicated to discovering the Mathematics Library through its oldest and most precious books. Among the various works on display, visitors will be able to see books by Euclid, Archimedes, Fibonacci and even Maria Gaetana Agnesi, a leading figure in 18th-century mathematics.
Get inspired by the historical collections and then create lots of colourful origami together with the teachers.

Santa Maria degli Angeli in Florence
From Camaldolese monastery to humanistic library

Guided tour
Departure from the Camaldolese monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli, now home to the Humanistic Library. The route winds through the Great Cloister, the East Cloister, the former Refectory and the former Chapel of San Michele. It will then continue in the monastery, now owned by the National Association of War Disabled and Invalids, with access to the 18th-century church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Western Cloister, decorated with frescoes and sculptures from the early 17th century, and finally to Brunelleschi's Rotonda.
