On Friday 23 January at 4.30 p.m. at the Social Sciences Library (Corrado Room, ground floor), the first meeting of the series ‘Luigi Einaudi: war, peace, Italy and Europe’ will be held on the occasion of the exhibition Luigi Einaudi and ‘Il Mondo’, hosted by the Library until 15 March.
Two books will be presented during the meeting:
- ‘Luigi Einaudi nella storia del Novecento’ (Luigi Einaudi in the history of the 20th century) edited by Elisabetta Catelani, Effigi, 2026
- ‘Guerra e Pace. Luigi Einaudi, l'Italia, l'Europa e il federalismo’ (War and Peace. Luigi Einaudi, Italy, Europe and federalism) by Zeffiro Ciuffoletti, anthology of texts edited by Gian Luca Corradi, with a preface by Antonio Patuelli, Effigi, 2025.
Contributions by Simone Visciola (Université de Toulon) and Domenico M. Bruni (University of Siena). The authors will be present.
The other scheduled meetings will be held on 13 February and 13 March.
