The documentary exhibition Luigi Einaudi and ‘Il Mondo’, which will be hosted in the atrium of the Social Sciences Library from 15 December 2025 to 15 March 2026, will be inaugurated on Monday 15 December at 3.30 pm in Building D6 (Aula Bracco) on the Novoli Campus.
The initiative, organised as part of the cultural and scientific events linked to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Piedmontese economist and first President of the Italian Republic elected by Parliament, offers a journey through images and texts focusing on Luigi Einaudi's collaboration with the magazine “Il Mondo”, edited by Mario Pannunzio from Lucca.
The exhibition illustrates a cross-section of Italian political and cultural life from the material and moral reconstruction of the country after the tragedy of the Second World War to the birth of the Republic, showing President Einaudi's experience in both the public and private spheres and highlighting the breadth of his network of relationships, which included some of the most representative figures of the time in the political and cultural fields.
