On Wednesday 12 November at 12 noon, the library lobby will host the naming ceremony for the clinic located inside the library, which will be named after Giulia Santoni, a student on the three-year degree course in Nursing who tragically died on 4 August in a motorway accident while volunteering on an ambulance.
In recent weeks, the clinic has been made available for screening as part of the “Nastro rosa” campaign organised by the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer (LILT).
The event will be attended by the Rector of the University of Florence.
