The Scienzestate outreach event, which the University of Florence organizes annually to introduce citizens to science, returns this year to the Sesto Fiorentino Sciences Campus.
The Sciences Library presents Chemistry on Stage, with a program divided into two evenings, at the Enrica Calabresi Halls - Building R1 - Via E. Detti, 5. View the Campus map
- Wednesday, 11 June, 7-8 pm
- Intertwining of Chemistry and Art : the history of chemistry told and represented by Marco Fontani (DICUS) through curiosities, events and characters
- Thursday, 12 June, 6-11 pm
- Budding scientists : discover the chemistry of colors by coloring together
During the evenings from 6 pm to 11 pm, the Library also offers workshops, reading suggestions, and themed book exhibitions.
In particular, the Chemistry Tombola is planned, to discover the chemical elements and the periodic table through play.
The Technology Library also carries the
Small Library of Sustainability
theme to which this edition of the event is dedicated, inaugurated by DAGRI at the Agriculture library, rich in recent and innovative titles on the issues of environmental, economic, and social sustainability, related to the School of Agriculture.
The activities were prepared thanks also to the contribution of the part-time students working at the library.
