On Thursday 6 June from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, an in-depth webinar organised by the Social Sciences Library will take place on the Meet platform to learn about the functionalities of two databases in the economic area, AIDA and Orbis Europe. They can be accessed from the OneSearch catalogue by selecting the ‘Databases’ item and entering your institutional credentials.
- AIDA is a national product that focuses on the Italian national perimeter, with searches on individual companies or groups of companies based on specific criteria. Among the information contained in the platform you can find: detailed financial statements according to the IV EEC Directive - about 2 million, details of payables and receivables, consolidated, non-consolidated and IFRS - with a 10-year history; codes and activity descriptions (ATECO; SIC, NACE).
- Orbis Europe (ex Amadeus) collects and manages information on internationally listed and unlisted companies with information on approximately 523 million companies.
The meeting will be held by a Moody's consultant and will have the following objectives:
- Transmit to users an in-depth knowledge of the tools
- Show the timely and strategic analysis strategies
- Read the report
- Use the main analysis tools
- Extract the information material
