On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Ernesto Giacomo Parodi (Genoa 1862 – Florence 1923), the DILEF (Department of Letters and Philosophy) and the Humanistic Library are organizing a bibliographic and documentary exhibition in honor of this important figure of scholar and teacher, of which the library preserves the book collection and his archive.
The exhibition, edited by Luca Azzetta, Francesco Bausi, Anna Bettarini Bruni, Alessandro Parenti, makes use of the rich and still largely unexplored heritage of the Parodi Fund illustrating all the aspects of his multifaceted activity as a scholar, teacher and intellectual, in close synergy with the study day organized on 17 November at the Department of Letters and Philosophy (Pedante e geniale: Ernesto Giacomo Parodi a cento anni dalla sua morte).
