The Arno river told by the geologist Tommaso Beni

The Sciences library presents “Arno, a river that you must live”

A meeting with Tommaso Beni, geologist of the University of Florence, who will accompany us along the Arno river route emphasising the unexpected bonds between the river itself and the florentine people.

The tale will involve the populations that, during the years, lived on the riversides, the “arniensis people”.

We will talk about “tempo di corrivazione”, floods, art and entertainment, without forget the importance of the historical documents and memory.
