Legislative Decree no. 47 of 2017 introduced the possibility for all citizens of age to act as guardians for unaccompanied foreign minors. This is mainly a legal representation function. However, guardians can act as a bridge and facilitate the reception and integration of children who have arrived in Italy without adult reference points.
This initiative, promoted by the Social Sciences Library, aims to present the tasks of the guardian and to involve the university community more closely in this activity.
