Thursday 9 February 2023 at 5.30 PM on the second floor of the library Francesco Ammannati will present the book "Per filo e per segno L’arte della lana a Firenze nel Cinquecento" published by Florence University Press.
The author, Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Sciences of the University of Florence, demonstrates how the textile sector represents a good point of observation to assess the prospects of the Florentine economy in the sixteenth century, proposing a long-term vision of the process of ascent and decline of the art of wool.
