The exhibition is part of the Cloister in Action project, which stemmed from the Humanities Library, with the aim of highlighting the historical spaces of the Brunelleschi Hall and the Levante Cloister.
The exhibition presents the relationship between nature, the environment and contemporary art and is organized in collaboration with Centro Studi Jorge Eielson, Gori Collection, Villa Celle (Santomato di Pistoia) and Mariella Sgaravatti (Florence).
Works by Pietro Calabretta, Martina Della Valle, Jorge Eielson, Paolo Fiorentino, Cornelius Gavril, Richard Long, Marco Pace, Gianni Pettena, Sandro Poli and Antonio Turrisi will be exhibited.
During the exhibition period videos related to the theme of the exhibition of young artists of the University of Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence will be screened continuously and a number of seminars will be staged to present the works. The dates will be communicated as they become available.
