The Humanities Library participates once more to MusArt Festival 2019 and from 13 to 23 July it will open its doors during the evening hours. Starting from Monday 15 at 6.30 pm, in the Chiostro di Levante, Stefano Senardi will curate a series of meetings on music and the performing arts, followed by screenings of a docufilm produced by Skyarte showing at 8 pm and 9 pm.
At 7 pm and 8.15 pm (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) guided tours at the Humanities Library will be offered. It is an opportunity to discover the rich collections of one of the most important humanistic libraries in Italy, hosted in the evocative location of the ancient monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
Two exhibitions have been set up for the occasion. The first one, Un invito a Winckelmann. Dalle raccolte della biblioteca (An invite to Winkelmann. From the library collections), curated by prof. Massimo Fanfani, which will present a selection of the works by Winkelmann held by the Library. The second one, Liriche femminili, displays photographic projects by four your authors: Sara Esposito, Claudia Gori, Barbara Leolini and Federica Zucchini - curated by Leonardo Brogioni.
