Virtual Exhibition Architecture Toscane
The virtual exhibition shows the result of the digitization of the volume "Architecture toscane, ou palais, maisons et autres édifices de la Toscane, mesurés et dessinés par A. Grandjean de Montigny et A. Famin, architectes, anciens pensionnaires de l'Académie de France, a Rome" held by the Technology Library of the University of Florence.
The exhibition, curated by Gianna Frosali and Gabriella Vagnarelli, is part of a research project coordinated by Mario Bevilacqua, whose results are published in the volume Tra Firenze e Rio / Entre Florença e Rio. Auguste Grandjean de Montigny (1776-1850) e la riscoperta dell’architettura del Rinascimento toscano, curated by Mario Bevilacqua, Florence, Didapress 2019, on the occasion of the XXXV International Congress of the CIHA (Comité International d'Histoire de l'Art), Florence 2019-São Paulo 2020.
