Libraries: New reservation system

From 6 March access via University credentials. External users will use SPID

From 6 March, reservations for access to the University's libraries will be made through the booking system already available to students to reserve their seats in the classrooms.

Following the current rules, you will need to make a reservation for both a seat in the reading rooms and for access to the loan and information service.

You will only be able to reserve a seat in advance for the following two days. It will no longer be possible to reserve a seat for the same day. The seat will be numbered and automatically assigned by the system.

To access libraries you will need to use the QR Code. In the Humanities and Social Sciences libraries, it will also be possible to enter using your student or staff university card. To generate your QRCode: https://qraccess.unifi.it.

Non-institutional users (users authorized by the library directors, AOUC, AOUM and ARS personnel, SBART users), with an IDxxxxx username, must:

  • Use SPID both to reserve their seat/entry and to generate their personal QR Code
  • They will also need to notify the library of their tax identification number (Codice Fiscale).
