The trial of the extended opening times (in the evening from Monday to Friday and Saturday afternoon) of the Humanities and Social Sciences libraries of the University of Florence, which began last December, concludes with June 30th.
Given the positive outcome of the experimentation, the University of Florence has started the procedures to consolidate the openings of the two libraries weeknights and Saturday afternoons, starting in January 2020.
From 1 July, the two locations will return to be open to the public from 8.30 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning from 8.30 to 1.30 pm.
