On-site reading

Use OneSearch to check on items' loan status.

Most of the materials are on open shelves and can be browsed directly:

  • ground floor - text and set books with Dewey call numbers (sections TESTO and DID);
  • first floor and hanging corridor -  journals in call number order and Eurpoean documentation Centre;
  • second floor and hanging corridor - reference materials (REF collection) with Dewey call numbers.
Once you finished reading an item do not put it back on the shelves but leave it on tables and trolleys.

Teaching staff, doctoral candidates, research fellows, grant students and subject specialists can have on the tables reserved for them up to 10 books for 60 days with special bookmarks to be obtained from librarians. However, books with call numbers starting with TESTO, DID, REF are not included in this allowance.

Materials held in the closed deposit are distributed on request at the ground floor desk, Monday to Friday at the following set times: 10.30 am - 12.30 pm - 4.30 pm.

To request books just click on Reservation on its OneSearch record and check the screen for information on the distribution time.

Other items, for which a request slip must be filled out, have different access options according to the type of material:
